BECOME RACE OFFICER
RACE OFFICER FUNCTION
The race officer handles a constant observation of the riders everywhere on the track.
An official having the qualification of race director or sport officer can also take care of this duty.
For the portion of track they have in charge, they have to control that the riders respect the regulation, assure the safety of the riders and public, protect immediately the wounded persons and clear the track
They are under the authority and at the disposal of the race director. The organizer has to give them signal flags and all the equipment they need to accomplish their task.
HOW TO BECOME A RACE OFFICER
You can sign up for a one year “Commissaire de Piste Stagiaire (OFS)” licence that will allow you to officiate on the tracks after a training course.
These training courses are handled by Regional Motorcycle leagues.
